Kaunas Versvu GymnasiumConcert

A mixed Kaunas Versvu Gymnasium choir gave a 2 hour concert to school community-parents, teachers, students, friends.

The choir "Allegro", teacher Laima Kaspareviciene, unites around 70 students of different age.

Famous Lithuanian opera singer Egidijus Bavykinas was invited to participate in the concert and sang together with our choir.

Video Contest

A crime novella by Swiss author Friedrich Dürrenmatt " Das Versprechen" has become a film, directed by the German Teacher Elena Pogka and interpreted by the students of the 3 Geman Classes.

Each class created its own film and after a contest, the best version was selected.

The students enjoyed every single moment, they spent many hours in outdoor shots and the most important: they had spoken German so much....

(The best film is the one from the γ1 class ).

The German Embassy in Greece and the Athens Goethe Institut had organised a contest named Teacher of German Language for the academic year 2016-2017.

Elena Pogka with this project was selected one of the teachers that distinguished with their innovative projects in the classroom.

Workshop Ceramic Pottery

Today the students of the first class had the opporunity to meet a ceramist and get inducted to the art of pottery of the Ancient Greek time.
The result of this workshop was a feeling of excitement as if they ontinuing the tradition of an art which appeared in the Mediterranean region thousands of years ago.
